Hi,

I’m Michelle Roberts the owner of NUMN Publications. As career Journalist, I’ve invested more than 30 years digging down to the facts behind issues and images and presenting those facts to the community in

a direct, digestible and actionable manner. Now I’m using my gifts and talents to

help other entrepreneurs use their gifts and talents to manifest their vision and make their goal of financial freedom come true.

After my youngest was born, I needed a part time job and a friend suggested I try sales. Frankly I balked at the idea, but my friend pointed out that as a freelance writer I’d been selling all my life. I soon landed a job selling HBO and Disney to cable subscribers; not only did I love it but I was good at it too, very good. Within a week I earned a place on the premier sales team, known as the Wrecking Crew and the opportunity to attend company sponsored trainings with greats like Brian Tracy and Tony Robbins.

I’ve been online since 1992, using the internet primarily as a research tool, but it wasn’t until 2005 that I discovered the vast possibility and opportunity of cyberspace. Like a child on a playground, I spent the next 3 years trying to touch, examine, experience it all; I began blogging, affiliate marketing and working the traffic drivers and free ad sites. I learned a lot about this place called cyberspace.

Then a little blog I was writing called Just Sayin morphed

into the cyber newspaper Not

Ur Momma’s News and suddenly I was in business. It was all kind of accidental and,

at the time, I didn’t have one thin dime to invest in the project. NUMN launched on

experience, passion and faith. Not Ur Momma’s News was named Most Unique Site by BlackRefer.com in January

2009 and now has a staff of 13 and an international readership. NUMN Publications has grown to include a Quarterly Financial report, The Bridge Builder’s Update and The Pillars of the Bridge a rapidly growing cooperative of entrepreneurs,

in addition to Not Ur Momma’s News.

These past months I’ve received a lot of emails and phone calls from people asking me how I do what I do and how they can begin manifesting their own vision. I always tell people to start right now, right where there are, with what they have in their hand. Too often their response is, I don’t have enough usually money. I say

to you today that lack is only a state of mind. It cost exactly no dollars to launch Not Ur Momma’s News; I’m a firm believer that if I can do it, so can you. I wrote Start Your

Business Today in hopes of giving you both an easy to follow plan and the encouragement to win your war for economic autonomy.
